Member of the Muggers of the Thieves' Guild

A large man stands before you, sporting an impressive collection of tattoos and scars. He looks like he could be a pirate, but judging by the blunt instruments he carries in addition to his blades, street tough or mugger might be appropriate. A huge scar, starting at his scalp before passing under an eyepatch to end at his jawline, is his most distinctive feature. It rather draws the eyes away from his slightly large, oft-broken nose, and almost perpetually smirking mouth. The remaining blue eye has faint laugh lines around it, and gazes around like he has seen it all before. The shaved scalp he sports only serves to emphasis some old scars, and his missing right ear.
He was a young man during the time of the Red Star, where he enthusiastically joined in the looting that it's appearance caused. After the star had gone, and with a lack of anything productive to do, he turned to piracy. He was captain of his own vessel for a long time, until his crew mutineed after hearing the 'Infinity Bottles of Beer on the Wall' song too many times. After being cast adrift for many months, surviving on Curious Squid and seabirds silly enough to fly near him, he was picked up by a merchantman and taken to Ankh-Morpork for an exhorbitant fee (which was never paid, as Grimrak promptly legged it as soon as the ship neared the docks). To make up for his lost fortune and lack of income, Grimrak turned to mugging people, until some Thieves' Guild enforcers turned up. After they'd finished explaining how the city worked, Grimrak joined them, and now enjoys a life of semi-retirement.
Grimrak does not talk about his family. Except when drunk, and then along the lines of "This is the scar I got when me dad caught me sneakin' back in the 'ouse after dark."
I'm not much of a roleplayer. Please forgive me if I'm slow, not making sense, or forgotten what I was doing earlier. We were all newbies once. :P
