Shizen is a young man in his early twenties. The first thing you notice about him is his unique hair. Dropping
down to just above his shoulders is flowing gray and silver hair. He has piercing ice blue eyes that take in
his surroundings and he never seems to be unaware. He has dark tanned skin and a well-toned body from years of
training. While he appears to be quite dangerous and walks with a deadly grace, he has chosen the way of the
Monk over the Sword.
Shizen was born into a Samurai family and was raised to be a strong warrior. However the idea of killing so
ruthlessly and sometimes just for the act of killing didn't sit well with him. So he instead turned his
studies to becoming a Monk, and used his skills to protect others. While not happy with his decision his family accepted it, as a Monk is still a respectable position, and one that fewer people hold. Because of his heritage he holds traits unusual to the Agatean people such as his blue eyes and silver/gray hair. As such he has learned to be accepting of others unlike they have been of him.
His father was a strong samurai with a long line of warriors. His mother however isn't from Agatea. She's a foreigner who his father fell in love with and married despite protests from his own family. She was a very gentle woman who couldn't protect herself, so it was left to her son and husband to protect her.
