Sciante is tall and slender, while at the same time muscular. Her poise emits a certain pride. She usually has quite a determined look on her face, but her mirthful blue eyes look kind. There are a few discreet scars on her cheeks indicating that she might have seen a few fights. Her hair is black as the moonless night and almost reaches her waist.
Sciante grew up in Sto Lat and left for Ankh-Morpork, to study at the Assassins' guild, when she was 9 years old. She was an excellent student of Scorpion House and graduated with reasonable ease. After that she did her best to master the arts of her trade and travelled around the Disc learning languages, cultures and geography. She often returned to Sto Lat to visit her parents as well as the Phida Manor, where she spent a large part of her childhood.
When she was 28 years old she became the Mistress of Scorpion House and has since done her best to help her fellow assassins as well as to keep them following the charter of the Guild. About a year ago she also became a Magistrate of Ankh-Morpork.
Sciante's parents are both educated at the Assassins' guild of Ankh-Morpork and skilled at their trade. They are an important part of the aristocracy in Sto Lat. Even if they don't have any positions of great power they have had quite an influence on those who have.
They are held in highest regards amongst their peers.
