He looks to be a rather fluffy and approachable man. Even though standing a little over 6' 3" and with his shoulders wider than his belly (pretty rare for a wizard) he still manages not to look threatening. However you get the distinct impression that his warmness would evaporate very quickly if any naughtiness or general "rumness" was directed towards him. You see.... he is married..... very married.
Having graduated from the Unseen University he tried his hand as a trader, and whilst moderately successful he did not have the traders' ethos in his heart. Perhaps scarred from rows overheard from his parents' room as child, who knows, but he just could not accept that someone else should always be right - especially customers.
This life without direction came to and end when he first glimpsed Punarina across the Plaza of Broken Moons. Whilst prim and proper, some may even say austere, Punarina's warty beauty and charming wit lights up his life. Like a moth attracted to a lamp Tempus is alive when she is near, only to quickly slip into lethargy when she has been gone for a while.
Scarred for life from an early age but with the love of a good witch healing those wounds, Tempus aims to be fluffy but regretfully there are no guarantees.
Tempus was born in Dinky into a good solid family - they would give him a good solid beating at every opportunity. From this disappointing start in life Tempus fled to the Unseen University to seek the warm comradeship of wizards. Disappointment continued to feature in his life.
Not completely without skills in the killing arts, be they magical or mundane, Tempus finds the taking of life a deeply personal thing. He shares with no one this destructive side of his persona… except his closest friends and and above all his confidant… his wife.
