Full Title: Darvish Lavinia the Quiet Touch
Nationality: Djelian
Two darkly gleaming eyes peer out of the perpetual haze that clouds the rest of her features, except for the thin, stretched line that appears to be her mouth. A stark slash of hair escapes the hood of her cloak, slanting across her pale forehead.
In a show of extreme carelessness, Lavinia lost both her parents to the sands as her missionary father attempted to convince the peoples of Klatch of the omnipotence of the God of Corridors, Sandelfon. Hardly possible in a place where indoors became outdoors after a very brisk wind. Raised in the Temple of Sandelfon as a mark of respect (or possibly, please-don't-come-back-from-wherever-you-are) to her father, she never really took joy in a perfectly waxed floor but said her prayers and stayed indoors all the same.
The priests expected and indeed prepared her to enter into the service of Sandelfon, but years spent wandering corridors had not only given her a magnificently pale complexion, it had also given her a sense of mild claustrophobia- not at all conducive for a prospective Sandelfonian. It was thus after much shaking of heads and pursing of lips (as well as months of her waxing corridors for Reflection) that the priests of the temple eventually took her through myriad underground tunnels to the Mountain, where they figured if Nothing could make this one happy, she would get Nothing.
While Lavinia doesn't appear often, when she does, she tries to stay in character as much as possible.
