Ptrisha pteh Pterrible is a young woman, lithe and graceful like most of her fellow Black Widows. Unlike them, though, she hails from the far land of Djelibeybi, giving her a darker, more sultry look. She has long red hair and emerald eyes, both rare amongst Djelians and unknown amongst the D'regs, the style of the former she constantly changes along with her clothes.
Her outfit changes often, usually to match the situation if not her own whims, and has found that the only thing worth while in the barbarian city of Ankh-Morpork is the great variety in clothing.
She is short, yet firey in temper and demeanor, more than making up for any problems based on her height.
Ptrisha was an orphan in Djelibeybi, which meant surviving first as a thief on the streets, and later as a bellydancer, until her foster-parents sold her to the local harem. A strong-willed woman, she found the power that women have over men exhilirating, and was able to convince her master to pamper her in exchange for her expert caresses. But such a life was not meant for a woman such as her, and she soon made her escape. Though she has yet to admit it to anyone, her escape from the harem was not as clean and covert as she wanted it to be, and several widows owe their life insurance to her first experience with poison and a stiletto.
Using the money she saved up throughout her teenage years, she made the long trek to Ankh-Morpork, where she spent a long time in the Drum, wasting her money and seeing the sights and smells of the city. Soon she found herself in search of a job and decided to bring her natural assets and talents into a profiteering trade. Since her earlier experiences have totally turned her off to selling her body for sex, she has instead sold it for death, having joined the Assassin's Guild.
After much training and study with her fellow ladies in the Black Widow House, she passed the Run and became a full-fledged assassin. She continues within that career, but she has taken up disc-trotting once more, spending less and less time in Ankh-Morpork with each passing week.
During the time she was training for the Run, she was contacted by Ptlepshut pteh Pterrible who, much to her amazement, is her long lost uncle. Or, more accurately, she the long lost niece. It is still unknown what happened to her parents and how she wound up orphaned.
The pteh Pterrible family has been around since before the founding of Djelibeybi, and was once considered to be a d'reg family... that is until their thirst for power and blood became too much for even the d'regs to handle.
When cities started forming, the pteh Pterribles started migrating towards them, although many have since left civilization altogether to roam the wilds, searching for trouble.
Ptrisha herself is not related by blood to the original D'reg line, but still fits the stereotypes.
Like with most, it is pretty obvious when Ptrisha is in character, and when Ptrisha is not in character. Please assume the former.
