A small furtive man is lurking here. Eyes darting around, he twitches nervously as though he may take flight at any moment.
When a phycopathic villain "The Mimer" murdered both of his ornithologist parents on a visit to Ankh-Morpork, Finch joined forces with another young man (whose parents, avid chiropterologists, had fallen afoul of the same villain).
Together they became FruitBat-Man & Finch vowing to avenge their parents and to generally "fight a righteous mission against evil forces while wearing tights!" Bats of course have very large balls, the evolutionary trade off being teeny-weeny brains. Finch found he had somehow became the sidekick of a complete and utter fool.
